Who we are
This Privacy Notice explains how personal data is collected, used and protected when you interact with the Age of RTS website and related services.
Age of RTS is operated by Maryke Kennard, an individual based in the Republic of Serbia.
Information we collect
We may collect the following information:
- Name or username
- Email address
- Country or region
- Social media handles, if voluntarily provided
- Any information you choose to submit via contact forms, event sign-ups, newsletter subscriptions or partnership inquiries
How we use your information
Personal data is used only for the following purposes:
- Responding to inquiries or messages
- Managing event participation or registrations
- Sending newsletters and communicating updates related to Age of RTS events or activities
- Improving website content and community experience
- Fulfilling partnership or sponsorship discussions
- Processing voluntary donations and related communications
Newsletter and marketing communications
If you subscribe to the Age of RTS newsletter, your email address is used solely to send you tournament announcements, schedules and related updates.
Subscription is opt-in. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you may withdraw your consent at any time without giving a reason. Unsubscribing does not affect any other interaction you have with Age of RTS.
Newsletter delivery may be handled by a third-party email service provider acting as a data processor on our behalf.
Cookies and analytics
The Age of RTS website uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager (container GTM-MN88CN47), to understand which events and broadcasts people engage with.
No analytics cookies are set until you accept them. Consent defaults to denied on every page load, and the analytics tags are blocked until you choose otherwise using the banner shown on your first visit. If you reject, no analytics cookies are stored and any previously set ones are removed.
Where analytics are accepted, Google Analytics may store cookies such as _ga and _gid to distinguish between visits. IP addresses are redacted and the data is used only in aggregate. It is not used to identify you personally, and it is not sold or used for advertising.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, or by clearing cookies and site data through your browser.
Strictly necessary storage — the record of your own consent choice — is kept regardless, because it is what stops us asking you again on every page.
Data sharing
Personal data is not sold, and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data may be processed by trusted third-party services only where necessary — for example email providers, event platforms, or website hosting services.
Payment information is handled directly by third-party payment providers and is not stored by Age of RTS.
Data storage and security
Reasonable measures are taken to protect personal information. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
We do not share your data with any third party not described in this Privacy Notice.
Data retention
Personal data is kept only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or for as long as required by law.
Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Event registration data is retained for the duration of the event and a reasonable period afterwards for results, records and dispute resolution.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict how your data is processed
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Children
Age of RTS services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Jurisdiction
This Privacy Notice is governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, with consideration given to applicable international data protection standards, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where relevant.
Changes to this notice
This Privacy Notice may be updated from time to time. Any changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "last updated" date below will change accordingly.
